Collagen IV lives specifically at the dermal-epidermal junction, which is that critical connection point between the deeper layers of your skin and the surface. When that junction weakens, skin starts to thin and sag. Fibronectin is a structural protein that helps cells adhere and communicate with each other. It supports wound healing and skin renewal. When you have good fibronectin levels, your skin repairs itself more efficiently. Hyaluronic acid you already know, but here’s the key: Matrixyl Synthe’6 actually increases your skin’s OWN hyaluronic acid production, which improves hydration from the inside rather than just coating the surface. And finally, Laminin 5 is a protein that anchors the upper layers of skin to the deeper ones, keeping everything structurally sound.
