I’ve really tried to take care of my hair over the past year and here are 3 things I swear that have majorly improved the fullness and feel and my hair 💇🏼♀️ 1) my @jolieskinco shower filter! my hair and skin feel completely different after 5 months of having this filter. We have hard water which had made my hair dry and break easily. 2) @tryarmra I do a few scoops every other day or so. You know I’m very type B so I can’t stick to a strict routine but since starting it about a year ago I’ve definitely noticed my hair growing longer and thicker. 3) finding a colorist that doesn’t over bleach your hair! @danielle.did.my.hair for my local friends is my GIRL. (One extra: throwing away my revlon dryer brush / sorry but that thing gets way too hot!!) Sharing bc as I’ve gotten older (and after kids) my hair has changed so much. I found myself emotionally overcome with anxiety and fear, while physically at his hospital bedside daily. While our world felt as though it was stopping, everyone else’s world just kept going. Including that of @kidkrafttoys and their new toy launch they hired me to promote as a content creator. I knew I wouldn’t hit deadline. I could barely put one foot in front of the other, how could I possibly plan, film, edit, and share a partnered video? So I reached out to KidKraft anxiously. I told them that I wouldn’t hit deadline and shared with them a glimpse into the reason why. I fully expected them to pull my contract. While this would have been fully justified, it also would have been another hit. Content creation was my job and how I helped provide for my family, pay our bills, etc. However, what they said next moved me to tears. Tears I didn’t know I had left to cry, but somehow came flowing out. KidKraft replied by telling me not only to take my time in posting (I.e. not cancelling my contract) despite them having a specific launch date in mind. But they also replied by saying that they wanted to give me kids/our family something special to help “go make memories” during this incredibly difficult time. Allowing me to select from their website the product that would be most fitting, I chose this dollhouse for not only my children, but also my nieces to enjoy. The dollhouse was delivered to my parent’s house the following week and as my Dad returned from his latest planned week long hospital stay for chemo, he got to work proudly building what we have now termed “Papa’s Place” in honor of his grandkids. Today, after explaining the incredible generosity of @kidkrafttoys my Dad surprised his grandkids with “Papa’s Place” encouraging them to make endless memories at Papa and Nana’s house during this very difficult time for our family. KidKraft never asked me to post this video. They gave so kindly with zero expectations in return.
