In preparation for the Holidays, I added some short ribs to my @butcher_box order. This morning at the #mountainviewfarmersmarket I picked up these GORGEOUS “red” carrots (2nd pic), and some scratch made gemelli pasta. That led to this amazing, carrot heavy, braised short rib ragu. I absolutely refused to let depression, self pity and anxiety define me. . Most of the time, we know what we need to do to living in order to live a better life, to be at our most optimal, but the change it takes can be so scary. . I’m here remind you that change IS possible, but it will take effort, awareness and months to years of dedication to finally pin point where you need to be. Rome wasn’t built in a day, and neither are you. Be patient and start making the little changes today that your future self will be oh so proud of. 🤍 .
