They will have a celebration for it on April 11th 🎊 So excited about this! I loved the space when I got a little preview of it yesterday. It looks SO good. You are going to want to check it out when doors open! 🚪 Founded in 1928, Reid’s is NC’s premier specialty food store. I always stop in when I need a gift because of their specialty finds…Their gourmet market is filled local goods, wine, and grab & go options. It also has a butcher shop inside 🥩 🍷 I love grabbing a coffee and looking around at their selection. I currently go to the Reid’s South Park in Charlotte and can’t wait to spend time at this location too. I grew up around this area and used to eat at the restaurant that was here years ago. It’s fun to see something new coming into the neighborhood 😍 They have live music some nights and daily specials here 🎶 I enjoy the burger and charcuterie days🍔🧀If you’re dining in or just stopping by, they have something for you. Even though we’re having a micro wedding, there have been so many decisions to make… Over the next two months, I’ll be giving a little look at my planning process and sharing inspo along the way 💍 Our countdown to our date is already in the double digits!!! Im working on a fast timeline so I’ve been a BUSY bride-to-be. I figured our location is the perfect place to start 📌 Here are some of our favorite spots in Asheville that we love as a couple: •Flora – A flower and coffee bar that is magical. I am now obsessed with @uchirestaurants after going to try with a friend last week. They are in soft opening mode and everyone is talking about spot! I have no notes 🗒️ The crunch in the Uchi salad, the glaze on the Brussels, the melt in your mouth nigiri, and the warm banana dessert that makes you do a happy dance🔥 I can see why it’s award winning because it was SO good! We sat in a table near the sushi bar (which you can specifically pick when you book a res). Our server suggested an Omakase style meal for us so it was all menu items that the chef’s curated. Everything that was selected was delicious! You can expect fresh sushi, cocktails, and a chic atmosphere 🍣 If you don’t love raw sushi, they have hot dishes to enjoy. Stay tuned for their concept @uchibarestaurants opening upstairs on April 3rd. It’s more of a relaxed, rooftop vibe! 📣 One of my besties loves this spot in Miami…and I’m so glad we have it in Charlotte now for our GNOs. There’s just something about walking through rows of tulips and picking your own bouquet that feels magical! 🎟️ The U-Pick tickets at Five Blossoms Farm do sell out which makes it feel even more special to come back. My fiancé got us a pair a couple months ago and it ended up being the perfect weather for it this past Sunday ☀️ 💐 They began growing these in 2022 and have grown so quickly! They went from 5,000 bulbs in their first year to more than 70,000 blooms for this one which is amazing. 📲 They are sold out for 2026 but sometimes add new time slots. It has an incredible skyline view too! 🏙️ This is a steakhouse that is Michelin recommended. They will have a menu of prime steaks, fresh seafood, wine and craft cocktails🥩🍸 It will be their third location and it’s huge! The 10,224 sq foot space will have indoor and outdoor seating 🪑🌞 They will also have full bar and private dining room! I loved their rooftop view of the Queen City. It is an awesome fast-casual place to grab a healthy meal in South End area! 🍲 Their seasonings and sauces tasted amazing. The best part? Nothing is artificial here! I got the steak and mushroom bowl and all of the meat + veggies in it were seasoned to perfection!! The smashed crispy potatoes, green beans, and mushrooms were SO yum paired with the Miso sauce👌 My fiance tried the high protein plate that came with two proteins,broccoli, sweet potatoes, and rice! We both loved the mac & cheese as side and sticky toffee date cake for dessert! If you are picking up to-go, the chocolate chip cookie is the perfect sweet treat too🍪I love that we now have this farm fresh option in town!
