| 2026-06-05 16:09 | Video | 2024-07-03 16:50:55 | “you can’t unsee it once you see it 😅” it’s hard to believe i’m coming up on my 2-year-*colorversary* after getting my color analysis done with @hoc_okc_girlies in sept ‘22 🌈🫶🏻 to say this was one of the most game-changing experiences of my life would be an understatement 😆 the impact was felt almost immediately…⬇️ • i’ll never forget how many compliments from *strangers* i received the first time i wore that kerry green tee 💚 (still one of my most complimented colors to this day) • i began wearing *less* makeup than ever before (where was brown mascara my whole life?! 🤎😭) • i started letting more of my natural hair color come through + had a better idea on how to communicate w/ my hair stylist on what i wanted at appt’s 💇🏼♀️ • i started shopping w/ more intentionality / purpose + watched my closet transform into one of beautiful, colorful harmony instead of a sea of black + muted neutrals 🛍️ • the *noise* + stress of getting ready / dressed each day began to dissipate as my confidence for walking out the door + showing up in life increased 👊🏻 …i could go on + on! here’s the thing though 👉🏻 it’s not like i didn’t love clothes / makeup before color analysis or that i NEVER felt beautiful or confident… i can absolutely look back at certain photos of myself + remember feeling comfortable in my skin, pretty, excited about an outfit, etc. HOWEVER — i simply cannot shout it from the rooftops enough how *mentally freeing + confidence-boosting* it is to have the knowledge of what colors look BEST on me when it comes to every shopping decision (big or small) + getting ready everyday (whether i’m running errands or headed to a special event)! ✨ all this to say, if you’re still on the fence wondering if color analysis is in fact a “real thing” or if it’s actually worth the $$$, i (along with MANY others!) can assure you IT IS + i can’t recommend the girls at @hoc_okc_girlies enough! 🙏🏻 (btw they didn’t ask me to share any of this, just my own opinions / experience 🙃) s/o to @springplaybook + @bourbonbarbie for this fun reel idea ▶️ #coloranalysis #houseofcolour #hocspring #hocautumn #hocsummer #hocwinter #hocokc | #coloranalysis, #houseofcolour, #hocspring, #hocautumn, #hocsummer, #hocwinter, #hocokc | 330 | _lael | - | Open Link |
